About me...
I've always enjoyed making things (just ask my fourth grade teacher who received crocheted hair ribbons for her birthday), so it's no wonder I've been a crafter all my life. In high school, I made candles, painted picture frames, and decoupaged boxes. I worked at Hobby Lobby my senior year, and I think I spent half my paycheck on craft supplies. After college, I worked as the Craft Service Manager on the DIY Network's craft show called Creative Juice. Since then, I've picked up a lot of new skills (sewing, jewelry making, printmaking, etc), and I'm always seeking to try new techniques and practice old ones.
I'm from Chicago, but I live in Pasadena with my husband. In my free time I like playing board games (Ticket to Ride or Pandemic, anyone?), baking, riding my bicycle, taking ballroom dance classes, and playing my ukulele.
